Dr. Brigitte Hynes-Taylor - Owner of Circle Studio

 

Dr. Brigitte Hynes-Taylor, is originally from Bright’s Grove\Camlachie and is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Registered Holistic Nutritionist & Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner. With 14+ years of extensive health education she holds a BSc. Human Nutrition, Masters in Health Promotion and MD (Medical Degree). Her passion in life has always been health, wellness and nutrition.

 

She has lived and worked around the world from Ireland, to Poland and across Canada from Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan to Ontario.

 

In 2015, Dr. Brigitte Hynes-Taylor opened her private Holistic Nutrition  Practise in Petrolia, & Sarnia, Ontario. Having worked & studied internationally, she is a firm believer, when you empower people with tools and knowledge; change is the natural progression of these actions. Nutrition services and programs include: one on one nutritional assessments & individualized nutrition plan & recommendations, weight management & weight maintenance programs, meal plans, Ketogenic & macronutrient focused foods, IgG blood tests for food sensitivities\intolerances, cooking classes, nutrition related seminars, workshops and much more.

 

As a mom of a busy boy & baby girl, fitness is something Brigitte is very passionate about.  She believes the importance to lead by example for our children by showing them movement & fitness can be a fun part of our daily routine.  

 

Dr. Brigitte Hynes-Taylor founded, Circle Studio (a boutique fitness studio in Petrolia, Ontario) in 2016. She is a Principle Instructor at Circle Studio. Brigitte is a Certified Personal Trainer and  Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Brigitte teaches a variety of group fitness classes in Petrolia, Sarnia and on her farm for all fitness levels, including class focused on Postnatal fitness (Baby Barre, Stroller Fit & Baby Bootcamp). Brigitte holds additional & specialty certifications in Total Barre, Pumped Up Strength, PIYO, POP Pilates, POUND,  Total Barre, Post Natal Barre, TRX, Urban Poling & Surfset. 

 

Dr. Brigitte Hynes-Taylor advocates for networking with local businesses to collaborate on creating and delivering unique and engaging health promotion programs, events & workshops.  Through continuing education Dr. Brigitte Hynes-Taylor is constantly expanding her knowledge to deliver and integrate current nutrition, health and wellness and functional fitness information for clients. 

 

Outside of business, Brigitte is an Adjunct Professor at Lambton College.  At home , she is a  mom of two & wife. Brigitte loves being outdoors and the many projects & adventures on her families farm. 

 

Brigitte looks forward to empowering her clients  with the health promoting knowledge, understanding and tools they need to obtain optimal health and balance in life, and encourages everyone to “move and nourish their lives naturally”.

Adina Potter - Yoga Instructor

 

I love and appreciate the small town live currently I live in forest and I grew up in the country outside of watford. I have been working in fitness for about 8 years teaching a variety of classes- spin, bootcamp, step, kickboxing etc. When I started working in fitness I believed the only way to workout was to sweat profusely and be sore for several days after. 

My love for yoga began in 2019 where I discovered a true passion in this gentler yet amazingly powerful form of movement. I can’t begin to describe the amazing effect it has had on my mind and body! 

Since then i have been teaching and expanding my training and knowledge in many styles of yoga. One of my favourite ways to move is to test my strength with challenging flows, arm balances and inversions.

Alex Atkinson-Dacey - Yoga Instructor

 

My name is Alex Atkinson-Dacey and I currently reside in Petrolia with my loving husband and three wonderful children. I have a deep passion for yoga and have been practicing for over 20 years.

 

Training and Experience

In 2017, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training. I have also pursued and continue to expand my knowledge through various continuing education courses in areas such as restorative yoga, the vagus nerve, and more. My dedication to learning allows me to provide a well-rounded and comprehensive yoga experience to my students.

 

I have been teaching yoga since 2019, both at Circle Studio and within the local community. My expertise lies in teaching a variety of styles - including hatha, restorative, yin, vinyasa, post-natal, and corporate yoga - as well as specializing in yoga for every unique body. This diverse range allows me to cater to the specific needs and goals of my students.

 

Journey to Yoga

My personal journey with yoga began more than 20 years ago after a car accident. Yoga became a means for me to support and strengthen my body during my recovery. However, it was during my postpartum period that I truly fell in love with yoga. Managing anxiety and depression, I discovered that yoga provided me with a sense of peace, balance, and healing. This experience inspired me to become a yoga teacher and share the transformative power of yoga with other women on their own journeys.

 

Teaching Style

As a yoga teacher, my style emphasizes clear cues and demonstrations to guide my students through their practice. I also incorporate pranayama (breathing techniques) and gentle instrumental background music to create a soothing and meditative atmosphere. Throughout each session, I place a strong focus on alignment to ensure a safe and effective practice for all of my students.

Chris White - POUND Instructor

 

Hey I’m Chris White and I hope that you recognize me from the OG Circle Studio and if not, let me tell you a bit about myself! 

 

I am a part time pharmacy technician, boy mom to 3 busy boys, online BODi partner, farm wife and fitness instructor, my passion being PoundFit! 

 

Pound is an amazing cardio based workout where we move to the beat of the music with our weighted drum sticks rocking out, working out any emotions we may need!
