Brigitte Hynes-Taylor – Owner & Founder of Circle Studio
Originally from Bright's Grove/Camlachie, Ontario, Canada, Brigitte Hynes-Taylor is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) and Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner (NNCP). With more than 15 years of education and experience in health and wellness, Brigitte also holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, a Master of Arts in Health Promotion, and is a graduate of the Medical University of Łódź.
Brigitte's passion has always been helping people improve their health through movement, nutrition, education, and empowerment.
Having lived and worked around the world—from Ireland to Poland and across Canada from Nova Scotia to Saskatchewan and Ontario—Brigitte brings a broad perspective to health and wellness. She firmly believes that when people are empowered with knowledge, tools, and support, positive change naturally follows.
In 2015, Brigitte opened her private Holistic Nutrition Practice serving Petrolia and Sarnia, Ontario. Nutrition services include one-on-one nutritional assessments, personalized wellness plans, weight management programs, meal planning, macronutrient-focused nutrition strategies, food sensitivity testing, workshops, cooking classes, and educational seminars.
Using a holistic approach combined with her extensive educational background, Brigitte works with clients to identify nutritional, hormonal, physical, mental, and lifestyle factors contributing to their symptoms. She then develops realistic, sustainable wellness plans designed to support hormonal, nutritional, physical, mental, and emotional balance.
In 2016, Brigitte founded Circle Studio, a boutique fitness and wellness studio originally located in Petrolia, Ontario. Today, Circle Studio has evolved into a unique wellness community offering Pilates, nutrition coaching, hormone health education, workshops, retreats, and community-based wellness experiences from her rural farm studio.
Brigitte is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Cancer Exercise Training Specialist, Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner, Certified Mat & Reformer Pilates Instructor, Holistic Perimenopause & Menopause Coach, and Registered Nutritional Therapist.
A Personal Connection to Pilates
In 2022, Brigitte began her Pilates certification journey initially to better support her mother's rehabilitation and recovery following breast cancer treatment. During this same period, Brigitte learned she carried the BRCA2 genetic mutation, significantly increasing her lifetime risk of developing breast cancer.
As she immersed herself in her Mat and Reformer Pilates studies, Brigitte experienced firsthand the powerful benefits of Pilates as both a prehabilitation and rehabilitation tool.
Following her mother's breast cancer diagnosis in 2020 and her own positive BRCA2 genetic testing in 2021, Brigitte became increasingly passionate about supporting women through all stages of their health journeys.
Pilates became an essential part of her own wellness journey as she prepared for a prophylactic double mastectomy in October 2025. Through regular Pilates practice, she was able to build strength, improve mobility, maintain function, and prepare both physically and mentally for surgery. Following surgery, Pilates once again became a cornerstone of her rehabilitation and recovery process.
This lived experience has deepened Brigitte's understanding of the physical, emotional, and mental challenges many women face and continues to shape how she teaches, coaches, and supports her clients today.
In March 2024, Brigitte officially launched a Breast Health & Fitness Program, focused on supporting, educating, and empowering individuals affected by breast cancer before, during, and after treatment, as well as those navigating preventative health journeys.
Passion for Women's Hormonal Health
At 42, Brigitte has developed a special passion for supporting women through the often confusing and overlooked transition of perimenopause and menopause.
As a woman navigating this stage of life herself, she understands firsthand many of the challenges women face, including changes in energy, sleep, mood, body composition, stress resilience, confidence, and overall well-being.
In early 2025, Brigitte completed her certification as a Perimenopause & Menopause Coach, further expanding her knowledge of female hormone health and the physiological changes women experience throughout midlife.
This training naturally complements her extensive background in:
✔ Human Nutrition
✔ Holistic Nutrition
✔ Functional Nutrition
✔ Personal Training
✔ Pilates Instruction
✔ Cancer Exercise Training
✔ Women's Health Education
By combining nutrition, movement, lifestyle strategies, stress management, hormone education, and functional wellness approaches, Brigitte helps women better understand what is happening in their bodies and provides practical, evidence-informed tools to help them feel their best.
She believes women deserve more than simply being told that symptoms are "just part of aging."
Instead, she is passionate about helping women understand the connections between hormones, metabolism, sleep, nutrition, stress, movement, and overall health so they can make informed decisions and feel empowered throughout perimenopause and menopause.
This expertise has become a natural extension of her work as both a nutrition practitioner and Pilates instructor, allowing her to support women from a truly holistic perspective.
Continuing Education & Future Vision
Brigitte is currently completing her Pilates Chair Certification, further expanding her ability to support clients through functional movement, strength development, rehabilitation, and healthy aging.
As both a health practitioner and Pilates instructor, Brigitte believes movement is one of the most powerful tools available to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being throughout every stage of life.
Looking ahead, Brigitte has big dreams for the future of her farm-based Pilates and wellness studio. Her vision is to create a space where women can step away from the noise of everyday life and find support, connection, education, and movement in a welcoming rural setting surrounded by nature.
She hopes to continue expanding her offerings through Pilates, nutrition coaching, perimenopause and menopause education, retreats, workshops, women's health programming, hormone health coaching, and community-focused wellness experiences.
At the heart of that vision is creating a place where women feel:
🤍 Supported
🤍 Empowered
🤍 Connected
🤍 Educated
🤍 Strong
🤍 Seen
Whether a woman is navigating perimenopause, recovering from surgery, rebuilding her health, seeking preventative wellness, managing a breast cancer diagnosis, or simply looking for a supportive movement practice and community, Brigitte's goal is to help her feel capable, confident, and connected to her body.
Through Circle Studio, Brigitte hopes to continue building a community where movement becomes more than exercise—it becomes a tool for healing, resilience, connection, and lifelong wellness.
As a mom of two, Brigitte is passionate about leading by example and showing her children that movement, nutrition, and self-care can be enjoyable parts of everyday life. She believes fitness should be accessible, empowering, and supportive for every stage of life.
Brigitte has taught as a Adjunct Professor at Lambton College and enjoys collaborating with local businesses, healthcare practitioners, and community organizations to create meaningful health promotion programs, workshops, and events.
Through ongoing education and professional development, Brigitte continually expands her knowledge to bring current evidence-informed nutrition, hormone health, women's health, fitness, Pilates, and wellness strategies to her clients.
Outside of work, Brigitte enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Nathan and their two children, embracing the many projects and adventures that come with life on their family farm.
Brigitte looks forward to continuing to empower women and families with the knowledge, understanding, and tools needed to improve health, build resilience, and create lasting wellness.
"Move and nourish your life naturally."
