Every year on May 2nd, we celebrate International Pilates Day
But this isn’t just about a workout.
It’s about learning your body…understanding it…and finally working with it instead of against it
And if you’ve ever been in the studio — you already know ✨
🌿 A Little History (Because It Matters)
Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, who believed that physical and mental health are deeply connected.
He originally called it Contrology — a method built on:– intention– control– intelligent movement
He even created early versions of the reformer using hospital beds to help injured patients regain strength.
This method was never meant to be rushed. It was meant to be felt 🤍
✨ Why Pilates Feels So Different
Because it’s not just about “getting a workout in.”
It’s about:– how you breathe– how you move– how you hold your body throughout your day
You start to notice:– your posture improving– your core actually working– less tension in your neck, hips, and back– more awareness in everything you do
Pilates doesn’t stay in the studio…it follows you home 🤍
🖤 Not Just Fitness — Prehab + Rehab
One of the biggest misconceptions?Pilates isn’t “easy.”
It’s intentional.
And because of that, it’s incredibly effective for:– back pain– pelvic floor dysfunction– injury recovery– preventing injury before it happens
It meets you exactly where you are —and builds from there ✨
🌸 Why Women Love It (Especially Right Now)
For so many women — especially through postpartum, perimenopause, and midlife — Pilates becomes something more.
It supports:– core + pelvic floor strength– hormone balance (through nervous system support)– joint health + mobility– strength without burnout
In a season where your body can feel like it’s changing…
This is where you reconnect to it 🤍
💬 From Our Community
“I absolutely loved it… the space, the energy, the support — everything felt so intentional.”
“Circle Studio Pilates has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself… it sets the tone for my entire day.”
✨ Final Thoughts
Pilates meets you where you are.
And then quietly…consistently…
it changes everything.
👀 Something New Is Coming…
We’re merging our love of movement, breath, and a deeper understanding of women’s hormones — through every stage of life.
Because movement alone isn’t the full picture anymore.
🤍 Introducing: The Perimenopause Reset Experience
An in-studio experience combining:– Reformer Pilates– Hormone education– Nervous system support– Real conversations about what’s actually happening in your body
This is your next step if you’re ready to not just move…but understand why your body feels the way it does — and what to do about it.
